Engineers first. Partners always.
Gray Coast Energies is an offshore engineering and services company headquartered in Switzerland, with operations in the United Arab Emirates and Germany. We support international energy operators across the full life of their offshore assets.
Our story
Gray Coast was founded in 1995 by a small group of offshore engineers who had spent their careers on platforms, vessels and project teams. The idea was simple. Operators needed an engineering partner that combined European rigour with the speed and flexibility to work wherever their assets are.
We started with inspection and integrity work on ageing platforms in the North Sea. Today our teams work across the North Sea, the Baltic, the Mediterranean and the Arabian Gulf, supporting projects from early design through to decommissioning.
What we believe
- Safety comes before schedule
- Anyone on our team can stop a job they believe is unsafe, and they will be thanked for it.
- Precision is a habit
- We check the numbers, document the decisions and close out every action. That discipline is what keeps assets running and people safe.
- We stay accountable
- We say what we will do, then do it. When something goes wrong, we own it and fix it.
- We build for the long term
- Our clients’ assets last decades. Our relationships should too.
How we work
We embed with our clients’ teams rather than working at arm’s length. Our engineers follow client standards and management systems, report through agreed channels and share what they learn. The result is fewer surprises, faster decisions and work that fits the operator’s way of doing things.
Certifications and memberships
Our management systems are built to the requirements of ISO 9001 for quality, ISO 14001 for the environment and ISO 45001 for health and safety. We follow the guidance of the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) in our marine and subsea work.
